What details should I provide when looking for food containers?
Tell us the food type, portion size, temperature at handover, and whether the container is for takeaway or delivery. The lid, number of compartments and planned monthly volume may also matter.
Can every container be used for heating or freezing?
No. Temperature limits and permitted uses vary by product. For microwave heating, oven use or freezing, always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the particular container and lid.
How should I choose between materials?
Consider the food, intended use and available waste management together. Assess recyclability or compostability using the specific product’s documentation and local collection conditions.
